Actually, as someone who has been doing tabletop gaming since 1982, yes, we still cheer each other&#039;s dice rolls.  A 20 is met with cheers and whoops, and a 1 is met with either moans of desperation, or good-natured chucklings of &quot;Ho boy, you screwed that one up GOOD!&quot;
