RPG Trifecta in Play Tomorrow

Three games are hitting North American shelves tomorrow. Usually such bounties are reserved for the third week of November, but come Tuesday, gamers are going to be presented with plenty of options.

Atlus brings the long-awaited Persona 3: FES, the expansion to the now hard to find Persona 3. It promises 30-40 hours of additional gameplay, and it even includes all of the original content of Persona 3. Quite a lot of game for only 29.99. It is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB and is for the PS2.

Nintendo brings those lovable Pokemon back to the DS once again in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Light. Both versions will begin with a short test to determine which Pokemon you are. Once decided, you will actually play the game as that Pokemon, without the need of a trainer to give out commands. Both flavors will set you back 34.99 and are rated “E” for Everyone by the ESRB.

Rounding out the list is another DS game, The World Ends with You, a new IP from Square Enix. It follows a youth from the Shibuya district of Tokyo. One day he receives a text message that he will cease to exist unless he completes an assigned task. It will retail for 39.99 and is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB.
