Lots o’ News from NISA

NIS America has announced three new titles for North America: Mana Khemia 2 and Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love, both for the PlayStation 2, and Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days for the PSP. All three will be released in the fall.

Like its predecessor, Mana Khemia 2 will have an anime look with 2-D sprites and 3-D environments, and gameplay will focus on item crafting. The game will offer two different scenarios following the two main characters, and in-game actions will affect which ending players can achieve.

Next up, Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love combines RPG elements, mechs, and dating-sim. The game is set in New York and will have eight chapters, each lasting some four to five hours. Social interaction is a central part of the game as relationships will influence combat performance. Players will command giant robots in battles that can take place in the air or on the ground with separate attacks for each mode. The game will feature six different endings and a slew of post-game content and games.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days is an enhanced port of the original PlayStation 2 title. It will include a bonus storyline following a new character as well as several new items and Disagea 3 game mechanics.
