Fable II Special Edition Bound for Europe

In yet another episode of “Europe Gets Things Later,” Microsoft is bringing a Game of the Year version of Fable II to Europe. The bundle includes the add-ons Knothole Island and See the Future, and is due for a September 18 release.

At-launch price is set at €64.99/£39.99. In a related episode of “Europe Pays More,” a quick foray into Yahoo’s currency converter suggests the US before-tax equivalent would either be $92.92 or $65.04, respectively.

More Gaming Goodness on Way

RPG fans hungry for the next quest have a couple of new options today. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is now available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC for a suggested retail price of $59.99. Fable II fans can also download the second add-on for the game, See the Future, for 560 Microsoft Points for the premium content package. Both games are rated M for Mature.

Fable II Video Diary Gives Expansion Release Date

The latest Lionhead video diary for Fable II has finally given the release date for the upcoming expansion, See the Future. Set for release on May 12, See the Future will cost 560 MS points and offers new quests, new characters, unique equipment and a “back flip trick for canine companions.” Additionally, XBox LIVE Silver members will have the opportunity to join Fable II co-op games during the Multiplayer Unlocked Weekend, which begins May 8 and ends May 11.

Fable II Looks to Future

Lionhead Studios announced today a second add-one for Fable II. See the Future will give players access to several new quests and items. Items will include a potion allowing your dog to change breeds and special armour and outfits for the player.
