It’s weird to be seeing DLC for a game that’s not even released here yet, but that’s what we’ve got with Final Fantasy XIII-2: Omega DLC media, not to mention some Frontier Gate, Dragon Quest X, Shining blade, and Lord of Apocalypse.
Another year, another birthday for yours truly. Continue reading ‘Birthday Media 09/03/11’ »
It may be a smidge crass to make light of the upcoming hurricane, but on the other hand there has never been a better time to LEAVE THE BRONX! YOU ARE ORDERED TO LEAVE THE BRONX!
I jest because I care, and because MST3K was brilliant. But seriously, best of luck to everybody on the east coast. In the meantime, we have some media for you: Dark Souls, Frontier Gate, Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2, and Ragnarok: Hikari to Yami no Koujo. Continue reading ‘Mass Media 08/26/11’ »
There’s something oddly fascinating about refreshing the stock ticker throughout the day. It’s like 2008 all over again. But enough about my weird hobbies; you’re here for the media. Here’s what we have today: Dragon’s Dogma, Final Fantasy Tactics iOS, Frontier Gate, Labyrinth Xross Blood Reloaded, Rune Factory 4, and Tales of Xillia. Continue reading ‘Mass Media 08/04/2011’ »

If there’s one thing we can all appreciate, it’s the ability of a major news event to bring us all together in a contest to come up with the best one-liners. Personally I’m fond of “Yet another thing started and finished in the time it took to complete Duke Nukem Forever.” Hats off to whoever came up with that first. Anyhow, on with the media: Chaos Rings Omega, Frontier Gate, Grand Knight’s History, Labyrinth no Kanata, Ragnarok: Hikari to Yami no Kouji, and Tales of the Abyss 3DS. Give it a look-see! Star Ocean developer tri-Ace has announced two new titles for portable platforms, with Konami as publisher. The first is Frontier Gate, a turn-based PSP title with some similarities to the Monster Hunter series. The second is Labyrinth no Kanata, a 3DS dungeon crawler from Takayuki Suguro, who last headed the team behind Resonance of Fate.
While Labyrinth has no release date, Frontier Gate is expected to launch by the year’s end. No US release was announced for either game.
