Atlus announced today that its Nintendo DS RPG Knights in the Nightmare is now available in stores. All launch copies have a CD with the game’s soundtrack and an MSRP of $34.99.
If you’re on the fence about the upcoming Atlus game Knights in the NIghtmare, own a Wii connected to the internet, and have a DS, you can get an early look via a new downloadable demo. It will walk players through the game’s systems. The demo is only available for a limited time, but the full game will be available everyone June 2nd with an MSRP of $34.99.
Man, I don’t know if I want to live in a world where Duke Nukem Forever is truly no more. It was like Schödinger’s Cat in game form, only we now know for certain that there never was a cat in the first place, and they were just showing us pictures of other cats. Of course we kinda knew all along that something was up but were going with it anyway because it made for good joke fodder, and who knows? Maybe there really was a cat in there the whole time and it’d be a really awesome cat. A cat with attitude and strippers. Oh well. Another hallmark of our pasttime gone by the wayside.
Anyway, here’s some completely unrelated media for you: Knights in the Nightmare, Blood of Bahamut, Ys Seven, Inazuma Eleven 2, and Trinity Universe. Continue reading ‘Mass Media 05/10/09’ »
If you’ve been dreaming about getting a free art book with Knights in the Nightmare, then Atlus can make your dreams come true. Those who pre-order the upcoming DS title at participating retailers will receive the game’s official art book, entitled Tome of the Lost Souls. In addition, launch copies will include the game’s soundtrack CD.
Knights in the Nightmare comes out on June 2, so get those pre-orders in ASAP.
Gather ’round y’all, we got a lot to go through today. Atlus is dominating the media for today, and we bet they can dominate it for the week too. All they have to do is stay focused and stop wearing pants. NIS America’s gonna try to put a stop to their fun, though. The three of you familiar with Get Your War On should appreciate that previous bit. Anyway, on to the media: A Witch’s Tale, Ys Online: Call of Solum, Dokapon Journey, Devil Summoner 2, Crimson Gem Saga, Knights in the Nightmare, Class of Heroes, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, Dissidia Cross Edge, and Phantom Brave Wii. Atlus has been generous with the pre-prder goodies of late and Knights in the Nightmare for the Nintendo DS will be no exception. Pre-orders will include a soundtrack CD and an art book. The game is due out June 2 for a suggested retail price of $34.99.
Atlus is bringing yet another RPG for the Nintendo DS. Knights in the Nightmare is a strange mixture that is part RPG, part real-time strategy, and part shooter. The game tells the tale of a castle in the center of lake that lies somewhere between the heavens and the underworld. All was peaceful until one night, all of the inhabitants of the castle were slaughtered in a surprise attack from the monsters of the underworld. Coming up with another salvo, we have some Dragon Quest IX, Phantasy Star Zero, Item-Getter, Suikoden: Tierkreis, and Knights in the Nightmare. Swear, it took it me, like, six tries not to write ‘Knightmare’. That Kn-stuff is tricky, man. Anyhow… Continue reading ‘Mass Screenshots, Artwork 12/11/08 – Round 2!’ »
