With its launch less than two weeks ago, Mobius Final Fantasy has cracked the one million user registration threshold, Square Enix announced recently. A campaign celebrating the milestone will reward players with special items – four cactuar, four Gold Cactuar, and four Metal Cactuar Dark Crystals – for logging in by June 19.

Square Enix doled out more information for upcoming smartphone RPG Mevius Final Fantasy, starting with a title change. Now known as Mobius Final Fantasy, the title will be produced by Yoshinori Kitase and follows the adventures of Wal, an amnesiac fellow from another world, and princess Sarah Cornelia, who has been awaiting a prophecized Warrior of Light to save this world, Paramitia.
Mobius is planned for a spring release this year in Japan, with regular content updates planned following launch.
