The hard part about rolling up a fresh New Vegas character in preparation for Lonesome Road is remembering all the little things you can do along the way. To wit: I could listen to Chief Hanlon talk for hours. Anyway, time for some media. In today’s update: Class of Heroes 3D, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 3, Half-Minute Hero 2, Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity, and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2.

You know what’s more annoying than writer’s block? Having an idea of what to write and how to write it, but just being so busy that when you finally get a chance to write the idea is gone. Seriously, that’s just cruel. But enough about me and my now-tabled idea about a time-traveling ska band that goes into space to fight crime. You’re here for media and I’m happy to oblige. Here’s what we have: Alphadia, Atelier Meruru, Gungnir, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity, and Rekusu Ancheinbureizu. Continue reading ‘Mass Media 04/20/11’ »

Today’s selection includes the following: Continue reading ‘Mass Media 03/12/11’ »

Phantasy Star Portable 2 to Hit PSP in North America, Europe

SEGA America announced via blog that the next portable installment of the Phantasy Star series will reach US and European retailers later this year.  The aptly-named Phantasy Star Portable 2 is slated for a Fall release on the PSP, though an exact date is not yet known.  However, other details were revealed: the game follows three years after the story missions in Phantasy Star Universe, and will allow for both competitive and four-player co-op gameplay online.

Phantasy Star Portable 2: Pizza Hut Pans and Leek Rifles

Sega Japan has taken Japan’s special relationship with Pizza Hut – last seen being frequented by an immortal Geass dispenser – to the next level with the upcoming Phantasy Star Portable 2. Apart from an in-game Pizza Hut, Phantasy Star now features room decorations of the chain restaurant’s Japanese mascot, Cheese-kun. Players may also arm themselves with Pizza Hut box shields and pie pans.

Those not interested in fast-food pizza appear to have other ways to garb and arm themselves. As reported by Famitsu, outfits from Evangelion, Fate/Stay Night, and – of all things – Vocaloid‘s Hatsune Miku are available via equippable armor.
