SEGA is bringing the DS RPG World Destruction to North America in fall of 2009 under the new moniker Sands of Destruction. The game chronicles a group of warriors in the World Annihilation Front that believe the only way to end the tyrannical rule of the Ferals, a race of powerful beastmen, is to destroy the world.

Famistu has revealed some details for those curious about World Destruction, the upcoming DS game. As already announced, the game will revolve around Kirie and Molte, both of whom have recently been recruited by the World Destruction Organization, a group bent on (surprise, surprise) destroying the world, which has come to be ruled by beastmen who use humans as livestock. Since saving the world is apparently cliche these days, Sega has announced World Destruction for the Nintendo DS.
