Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker to Utilize StreetPass, SpotPass

Atlus has elaborated on the use of StreetPass and SpotPass in Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker. StreetPass will allow players to pass skills and stat bonuses to each others’ demons, with both the demon and the passed bonuses chosen at random. SpotPass will deliver additional content after launch, such as entirely new demons and abilities.

Record Breaker hits the 3DS in North America on May 5.

Atlus has announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker will hit North American 3DSs on May 5.

Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker Includes Durarara Characters Via StreetPass

Atlus has revealed that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker will include characters from Durarara as party members, available for a limited time via StreetPass. The Japanese windows for each distribution are as follows: Izaya Orihara, January 29 to February 4; Shizuo Heiwajima, February 5 to February 11; and Headless Rider Celty, February 12 to February 18.

Record Breaker is planned for a January 29 release in Japan, and will launch in North America this spring.

Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker Headed for US

Atlus has revealed that Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2: Break Record is coming to the 3DS in North America. Resubtitled as Record Breaker, the game is an enhanced version of the 2011 Devil Survivor 2 for the DS, adding full English voices and localization, and a new postgame episode.

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker launches at retail and via eShop in early 2015, priced at $49.99.
