Atlus just announced that it will be bringing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, the “expanded and enhanced” version of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor for the 3DS, to North America this summer. SMT: DSO builds on the original game by adding voice acting and an eighth chapter to serve as an epilogue. The official website can be seen here, though there isn’t much to see right now.
Atlus has confirmed that “Demons were harmed in the making of this game,” thus allaying fears about an otherworldly alliance that could have compromised the integrity of Overclocked.
Well, “Mass” in the sense that there’s more than one, anyway. Hot on the heels of the Devil Survivor 3DS redux are some screens and artwork, and Valkyria Chronicles 3 wanted in on the fun too. Check it out, won’t you? Continue reading ‘Mass Media 01/06/11’ »
Atlus announced today that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is getting a port to the 3DS, with a handful of gameplay additions and technical upgrades. Called Devil Survivor: Over Clock, the game will get a graphical facelift for the handheld’s larger resolution, although 3D graphics are unlikely. However, it will feature full voice acting and an “8th Day” scenario, wherein you have a week to purge Tokyo of a demon infestation.
Over Clock will release in Japan this year. US confirmation was not announced.
