Someone out there must like Spectrobes, because Disney has decided to add a third game to the series, this time for the Nintendo Wii. Spectrobes: Origins promises a storyline that will shed new light on the past of the Spectrobes world. The Wii’s motion controls will feature prominently in the game’s design and combat will take of the form of large-scale battles in real time. The game is due out autumn 2009.
Spectrobes fans (and I’m sure there are some out there somewhere) now have something to look forward to. Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals will be heading to PAL territories on February 27, 2009.
Fans of the Spectrobes sequel, Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals can now get their hands on eight new critters. Chosen by the Japanese creators of the Spectrobes, the creatures are all level forty and are available via the game’s Wi-Fi feature. Players can gather ten points per week by using Wi-Fi, and each of the creatures costs one point. Up for grabs are: Komanoto, Hapazoa, Zaamaru, Rygazelle, Masetosu, Sametosu, Montrados, and Inkaflare.
Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals has some downloadable content available by using the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. Six new creatures are available. Continue reading ‘Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals gets DLC’ »
