In case you need more costumes in your RPG, Tales of Zestiria will have you covered with postlaunch DLC, Bandai Namco revealed recently. Costume bundles include “Academy Costumes” – school outfits, basically – and both outfits and hairdos from my long-standing weakness, The Idolmaster.
(No Makoto, no sale.)
Anyway, Zestiria hits the PS3 in Japan on January 22, with North America and Europe to follow sometime in summer of 2015.

Bandai Namco has announced that Tales of Zestiria will launch in Summer 2015 for the PS3 in North America and Europe. This puts it roughly six months out from the Japanese release of January 22, making it one of the fastest localizations for the series in recent years.
Also revealed at the Tokyo Game Show is that the game will feature downloadable costumes from the Evangelion series, including those for Shinji (Sorey), Rei (Edna), Asuka (Rose), and Misato (Lailah).

More details have emerged about Tales of Zestiria‘s Kamui Mode fusions, which allow main character Sorey to join with another party member to form a single powerful creature. The fusions are elemental based: Lailah creates a firey being that uses a sword; Mikleo’s is water-based and hits all enemies with a bow; Dezel’s creature uses wind, with whirlwind and tornado attacks; and Edna’s is earth-based, striking enemies with its fists and even the terrain.

Bandai Namco’s Dennis Lee, global brand manager for the Tales series, stated that Tales of Zestiria will launch for both Japan and the west in the same year. Speaking at an E3 Interview, he said that “We’ve gone from over two years with Xillia 1, and now we’ve gotten it down to a year, and we’re going to get it to less than that for Tales of Zestiria—it’s going to be in the same year as the Japanese release. So they’re working on shrinking that time down as much as possible.”
A timeframe for either release has yet to be announced.

Terun runs across Lloyd and Asbel, while Nahato encounters Yuri and Jade. Said characters, known as Awakened Ones, have lost the memories of their home worlds, though they still retain their core personalities and are ultimately pulled into the fight to save this world.
No word on price or release date have been given at this time.
