Zero no Kiseki Evolution Delayed

Via Dengeki Playstation, Falcom announced that the Vita redux of Legend of Heroes: Zero No Kiseki – subtitled Evolution – has been delayed to a fall release from its original August timeframe.

Future Kiseki Game Announced for Vita

With another entry in the Kiseki series (a Legend of Heroes spinoff) already in development, Falcom CEO Toshihiro Kondo announced that still another Kiseki title is also in the works. The upcoming title, Nayuta no Kiseki, is currently being developed for the PSP, and Kondo indicated a Vita version of Zero no Kiseki will follow.

The latter, under the full title of Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Evolution, will feature full voice acting, additional minigames, animated character shots for conversations, and various new visual effects. Evolution is expected to release sometime this summer for ¥6,090.

Legend of Heroes Boosts Falcom Earnings Forecasts

Strong sales and preorders for the Legend of Heroes series have prompted developer Nihon Falcom to raise its yearly earnings forecasts. Two titles in particular – Zero no Kiseki and the upcoming Ao no Kiseki – were cited for the change, and for the period of October 2010 to September 2011 the company now expects net earnings of 125 million yen, up from previous estimates of 75 million.

Legend of Heroes Followup Announced

Another entry in the Legend of Heroes series is in the works, according to Dengeki Playstation.  Dubbed Ao no Kiseki, the game is part of the Zero no Kiseki subseries and picks up a few months afterward.  Although few gameplay details were shared, Ao no Kiseki was confirmed for a September 29 release in Japan.  Limited edition preorders will include bonus Tio and Ellie Nendoroid figures, while another version comes with a drama CD.
