Trinity Universe Official Site of Officialness Launches

NIS America has just launched the official website for Trinity Universe, their upcoming collaboration with Idea Factory and Gust. The site can be found here, and it helpfully reminds us all that the game will hit shelves sometime this June.

Trinity Universe Partially Dated, Detailed

NIS America has just announced that Trinity Universe, their collaboration with Gust released last year in Japan, will hit North American retailers in June this year, though an exact date was not specified. Each of the game’s main characters will have their own campaign, and certain Disgaea characters are known to make an appearance: Etna, Flonne, Prinny, and Pamela.

Trinity Universe Confirmed for North American Release

Coming down off the GDC, publisher Idea Factory announced that the Nippon Ichi/Gust joint venture Trinity Universe will see North American shores “soon.” As the quotation marks may suggest, little information is available about the timeframe of the upcoming release, though Idea Factory subsidiary Compile Heart did state the game would be for both the PS3 and 360.

Mass Media 05/10/09

Man, I don’t know if I want to live in a world where Duke Nukem Forever is truly no more. Of course we kinda knew all along that something was up but were going with it anyway because it made for good joke fodder, and who knows? Maybe there really was a cat in there the whole time and it’d be a really awesome cat. A cat with attitude and strippers. Oh well. Another hallmark of our pasttime gone by the wayside.

Anyway, here’s some completely unrelated media for you: Knights in the Nightmare, Blood of Bahamut, Ys Seven, Inazuma Eleven 2, and Trinity Universe. Continue reading ‘Mass Media 05/10/09’ »

Nippon Ichi, Gust, Idea Factory Set Up Menage a Trois

Gamers looking forward to the upcoming crossover game Cross Edge should keep their eyes on Trinity Universe for the PlayStation 3. Announced in the latest issue of Famitsu, the game brings together characters from the Atelier, Viorate, and Disgaea series. Two scenarios will be available, the first featuring a goddess and the Gust cast. The other scenario will centre around a demon lord and a devil dog named Kanata, with whom the Nippon Ichi cast should feel right at home. Also, for the first time, the Disgaea cast will appear in 3-D rather than sprite form.

Idea Factory has announced Trinity Universe for August in Japan.
