Valhalla Knights 3, which released earlier this year in Japan and just weeks ago everywhere else, will be getting an updated re-release. Valhalla Knights 3 Gold will boast story additions alongside mechanical improvements, such as improved combat speed, faster load times, new races, and new jobs. Save data from the original game can be used with the Gold version, and preorders will include special DLC items.
Valhalla Knights 3 Gold launches in Japan on February 27, priced at 5,229 yen. A global release was not confirmed.
Valhalla Knights 3 will launch on October 15, according to XSEED Games. The PS Vita RPG will be available at retail and via Playstation Store for $39.99.

Did you remember that E3 is just a few weeks away? XSEED Games remembers, and here’s what they’ll be putting on display: Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, Rune Factory 4, Valhalla Knights 3, and Ys: Memories of Celceta.
Speaking of Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, XSEED confirmed the PS3/PSVita title will launch in North America and Europe this winter. Apart from new game content over the original Ragnarok Odyssey, this enhanced version will feature cross-platform play between the two titles.
Valhalla Knights 3 will launch on Japanese Vitas starting May 23. No specifics were given on a worldwide release, though prior announcements indicated a fall 2013 release for North America.
XSEED is looking to have a busy 2013, having announced several games to be localized this year in addition to the already-revealed Pandora’s Tower. These include: Rune Factory 4, Valhalla Knights 3, Ys: Memories of Celceta, and Ys I & II Chronicles+.
Rune Factory 4 hits North American 3DSs this Summer. Valhalla Knights 3 and Ys: Memories touch down on US Vitas in Fall. And Steam users can serve the Newell with Ys I & II Chronicles+ starting February 14.
