Square Enix and Marvelous Unveil Tokyo Game Show Lists

Square Enix and Marvelous Entertainment have both announced the games they’ll be showing off at the Tokyo Game Show this October. Visitors to the show can get a look at the usual suspects, including demos of upcoming Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon titles, but there will certainly some disappointed fans as both Final Fantasy XIII and Dragon Quest IX have been listed as trailer-only titles. For gamers curious about what they’ll be missing see below.

Marvelous will be showing off the following games:

  • Arc Rise Fantasia
  • Little King’s Story
  • Rune Factory Frontier
  • Oboro Muramasa Youtouden
  • Hitman Reborn ! Delta
  • Harvest Moon : Animal March
  • Avalon Code
  • Akagawa Jiro Mystery : Tsuki no Hikari
  • Ikki Tosen
  • Junjo no Romantica
  • Zero no Tsukaima 3

The following Square Enix games will be feature trailers and playable demos:

  • Chocobo and the Magic Storybook : The Witch and the Girl and the Five Heroes
  • Chrono Trigger DS
  • Cid and Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon
  • Dissidia : Final Fantasy
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
  • Kingdom Hearts : Birth by Sleep
  • Pingu’s Wonderful Carnival
  • Snoopy DS
  • Valkyrie Profile DS

The following titles will only have trailers:

  • Dragon Quest IX : Protectors of the Starry Sky
  • Final Fantasy XIII
  • Final Fantasy Versus XIII
  • Final Fantasy Agito XIII
  • Infinite Undiscovery
  • Parasite Eve : The 3rd Birthday

The Last Remnant and the Xbox 360 version of Star Ocean : The Last Hope are also on the list, but there’s no mention of whether they’ll be playable or not. Fans can also take a look at Square Enix’s Japanese site for the full list.
