Square Enix Revives Lufia, Still No Hope for Aerith
Square Enix has announced via Famitsu that it will be reviving Taito’s Estpolis series, also known as the Lufia series in North America. The new game, known only as Estpolis, is being developed by the same team that created the first game in the series back in 1993. The game’s logo includes the words “The Lands Cursed by the Gods,” which may or may not be a subtitle for the game.
The release date and the platform haven’t been announced, but more information will be available in next week’s issue of Famitsu.

Wow… just wow. My brother and I went a bit erratically excited at this news!! Let’s hope that with the same team that made the original, we get away from the crap that was Lufia: The Ruins of Lore… that was a steaming pile of trash.
