Lich King Goes Global This November

Blizzard Entertainment finally set a date today for World or Warcraft‘s second expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. In fact it set several dates. Most on the ten million players will be able to get their copy sometime between November 13-18, though mainland China is still waiting for an official release. As for everyone else, the game will be available in stores on November 13 in North America and Europe (along with Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia), and November 14 in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau will have to bide their time until November 18.

In addition to the standard release, a limited collector’s edition will also be available. It will feature an art book, an in-game baby frost wyrm named Frosy, a behind-the-scenes DVD, the official soundtrack, a continent of Northrend mouse pad, and a starter deck with two exclusive cards for the March of the Legion trading card game.

Wrath of the Lich King has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB and 12+ by PEGI. For more details check out the game’s official site.
