Atlus Incites Super Robot War on DS
Atlus has apparently solved its supercomputer woes and has announced yet another RPG for North America. This time around, it’s Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier. Like other games in the series, this one also centers on a collection of giant robots from various worlds, but they’re all original. Unfortunately, fans of Gundam or Mazinger will not find their favorites in this game. They will, however, find a newly revamped battle system with plenty of new faces to have fun with.
The game follows the exploits of Haken Browning. He’s known as a gunslinger and bounty hunter, and some would even call him a bit of a ladies’ man. He doesn’t know it, but he’s about to embark on a journey to solve the mystery of how the world came to be and save the megaverse with his crew of robots, were-beasts, secret agents, and even a busty princess.
As with some other recent Atlus releases, this one will also be a premium boxed release. Each launch copy will come with a soundtrack CD, and those that have the Super Robot Taisen game for GBA can use it to unlock bonus items.
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier is set to attack shelves on April 28 with an MSRP of $34.99.
