Nomura: Expect More Kingdom Hearts Games
In a recent interview with FF-Reunion.net, Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed a few juicy tidbits about the future of the series. Of particular note are the following:
- Kingdom Hearts 3 is a go, though its development depends on Final Fantasy XIII Versus. In what manner, Nomura did not specify.
- The series will not end with Kingdom Hearts 3, and Sora will be the main character for the entire series.
- Two additional Kingdom Hearts games are in the works, with one to be released later this year. The other, planned to launch sometime in 2011, will feature multiple main characters.
