Atlus has announced a new multiplayer RPG for the Wii. In Dokapon Kingdom up to four players will try to save the kingdom of Dokapon, which is being ravaged by hordes of gold-hungry monsters bent on stealing all of the kingdom’s wealth. The reward? The throne and the hand of Princess Penny. The problem? One throne and one princess, but up to three friends fighting alongside you and vying for that same prize.

Dokapon Kingdom brings together role playing and board games and boasts of a variety of battles, spells, items, play modes, and mini-games. Multiplayer mode sets players against each other and promises “friendship-destroying” fun as you fight, pillage, and generally wreak havoc on your rivals. Who said heroes can’t play dirty?

Dokapon Kingdom is due out on October 14. The official site is up and running with story, world, and character details aplenty.
