White Knight Chronicles Sequel Features More Knights, More Conflict
More information has surfaced regarding White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness. The story is set one year after the events of the previous game. The three kingdoms of Balandor, Grid, and Foria are facing difficulties, and the thousand-year-long war between the Islendia Empire and the Asvan Kingdom is spreading across the continent.
More knights have been revealed as well, including Tsukihime, or “Moon Princess.” Tsukihime is an archer, designed to be piloted by a woman, which makes it the series’ first female knight. Nothing else is known about it, including who has it or which side of the war it will be on. It’s been said that once all five knights are assembled, the “Final Awakening” will begin. The story will take players to places unexplored in the previous game, and will have new creatures, items, and recipes. Skills have been improved, and party members’ roles will be better defined.
