Deus Ex: A Review

Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to write this review of Page Industry’s latest and greatest piece of Virtual Entertainment: Deus Ex. But first, a few bookkeeping operations: Production of vaccine for the Grey Death has exceeded all expectations. Pay no attention to the rumors of hijacked shipments. It is merely terrorists trying to scare people. They’ll get theirs, believe you me.

But now, onto tonight’s topic. Deus Ex, from the wholly owned Ion Storm Austin, is a product of years of hard, laborious development. It contains the latest in Unreal Technology, the finest voice actors money can buy… er, hire, and exquisite gameplay unparalleled. It’s all about a man, a special man, augmented with the latest nanotechnology to fight the enemies of mankind, only to become corrupt and ruthless in his quest for power. Luckily, some good friends of the world come along and try to stop him before his mad schemes can come to fruition…. Wait, what? What did you say? He’s the good guy? I’m the bad guy?! Who the hell wrote this tripe?! Somebody get Spector in here, right now! *bzzt*
