Aksys Games, the company responsible for Hoshigami Remix, has recently announced that a new title, From the Abyss, will be making its way to western shores.

Developed by Sonic Powered Games, From the Abyss is a dungeon crawler for the Nintendo DS that features randomly generated dungeons and a two-player co-operative combat system. From the Abyss also features customizeable characters, whose abilities can be dictated by distributing skill points. These skills can also be stolen from opponents by capturing their soul. Either way, players will have their chance to take on the Dark Lord of the Abyss this winter, as From the Abyss has a release scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2008.
