Current Quests – Week of 07/13/08
We’re geared up for E3 this week, but that hasn’t stopped some of us from wiling away the hours with happy fun videogames.
Erika “wolfraven80″ Lachapelle has finally finished Suikoden V, clocking in at an absurd 85 hours. It was apparently worth it to collect all 108 Stars of Destiny and the good ending. To quote: “Woot!”
John “Karlinn” Boske is probably playing Deus Ex. Or he is now. HAHAHA I’m so evil. But in reality, he’s finishing up Arcanum and a leeetle game known as GTA4. Additionally, he’s being a ladies’ man in The Witcher, and shotgunning his way through the Resident Evil GameCube remake. I believe he should shoot things in the head. When it ain’t no *bleep*ing cutscene.
Michael “CactuarJoe” Beckett is finally closing in on the end of Etrian Odyssey 2. Unbalanced gameplay is apparently flattening his head with sticks while FOE’s regenerate quickly or some such. Those game are odd.
When he’s not busy (is that ever?), Derek “Roku” Cavin is playing some Rondo of Swords as well as the awesomesauce that is Yoshi’s Island DS.
Cortney “Alethea” Stone is a few missions away from the end of Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Probably still hating enemies that don’t have to follow the laws. And also stupid laws.
Michael “Slayer of God” Kozinko is on his own Ivalice kick, reaching the Gilmore Jungle in Final Fantasy XII, and completing Chapter 5 of Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.
T.J. “Nerdboy Himself” Condon was quite succinct in his activity for the week: “FFTA2“.
Jordan “J_Sensei” Jackson is off playing the “go to E3 and report on awesome stuff” game, which I know from personal experience will take up all his time.
As for myself, I’ve been doing a Mega Man marathon, going through both the original and X series of the games. I skipped the first Mega Man and X7 though, because I would like to run them over with a truck.
