Current Quests – Week of 02/09/08
Has it been awhile since I last did this? I submit that it has. Onward! I am feeling mixed emotions for my dear Alethea. She is not enjoying Disgaea very much at all, which I can totally sympathize with. On the other hand, I did warn her that it was amongst the most tedious and unfun games I’d ever played. Regardless, my copy of Digital Devil Saga is ready and waiting to be mailed to her, right after my car registration form. A guy’s gotta drive, after all.
My eternal nemesis CactuarJoe is currently testing my patience by not playing Charles Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden. Instead he is creating yet another team in Pokemon. Don’t worry, I’ll get him to play it soon enough. The call of the Statue of Liberty holding a giant syringe instead of a torch cannot be ignored.
Everybody give a rousing welcome to Jordan “J_Sensei” Jackson! He is our newest staff member, and has been playing through Devil May Cry 4, amongst other less notable games. He has also gone to war with Nerdboy over not having to write an introductory post.
Speaking of Nerdboy, he’s been playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Tediousness, Advance Wars: Day of Ruin, and Soul Nomad and the World Eaters. I have no earthly idea what any of those games are like, so insert your own joke here.
My BFF Karlinn is halfway through The Witcher: Tales of Nipslips, having taken a break from Mass Effect. He also plans another contribution to Blurring the Line, one of our more popular features.
Roku, the Al Borland to my Tim Taylor, has been enamoured in school paperwork. In his increasingly rare spare time, he’s been trudging through Final Fantasy VI Advance and Fire Emblem: Path of Tediousness.
XeroZohar has 15% completion in something called GT4. What that stands for, I have no idea. He’s also in chapter 7 of StarTropics, which means he’s over fifteen years behind the rest of us. Chump.
Finally we get to me, and I’ve been busy killing time until I can get my hands on a PS3 and Devil May Cry 4. To that end, I’ve been ridin’ spinnaz in Twilight Princess, slam jamming in Charles Barkley, and creating some diabolical new Pokemon in Pearl. I tell ya, Probopass is somehow even more hysterical when you actually have one.
That’d be it for this week. Beware the sugar monster. It’ll give you diabeties.
