Current Quests – Week of 12/09/07
Might I just say that I love IE7? It’s like Firefox, only without the severe memory leakage and complete destruction of the favorites menu. But enough about me, on with the lame nick system!
Cortney “Alethea” Stone has been playing Ass Eff…I mean Mass Effect, and after a whole week, is finally starting to enjoy it. Points for persistence, to be sure. She has also transformed into a ninja catgirl in Final Fantasy XI, combining something I love with something I do not understand the appeal of at all.
Speaking of catgirls, John “Karlinn” Boske is ten hours into Rogue Galaxy, and thus far comments that it’s eerily comparable to any Star Ocean game. Awesome gameplay, lame story. Fallout: Tactics is on the backburner.
Going back to alphabetical order, Michael “CactuarJoe” Beckett has thrown Front Mission DS into the wall, and has instead taken up creating more pokemans to beat me with. We’re 1-1 people. Something’s gotta give.
Derek “Roku” Cavin has taken out Naruto: Path of the Ninja with relative ease, posting a ten hour completion time. That, or the game’s just really short. Hard to tell with The Machine.
Jerry “XeroZohar” Swain is currently deader than a zombie at Chris Redfield’s house, although he mentioned this morning that he played some Mass Effect at a friend’s house.
As for me, I’ve been pretty busy, let me tell you. Amidst traversing the final dungeon in Digital Devil Saga 2 and making a complete run of the Resident Evil remake, I’ve been putting together several pokemans and trying to overcome 4-5 in Revenant Wings. Speaking of Pokemans, I’d appreciate it if you’d give this a gander.
Some Boy of Nerd has been hanging around the staff channel recently, rambling about Balthier and murdering the New England Patriots. Can’t say as I know what to make of this just yet, but figured I’d mention it just for fun.
Finally, we come to something I am proud to say I thought up myself. A weekly quote feature, just to give you guys an insight into what total whackjobs we are how things work behind the scenes here. See you next week.
<Karlinn> You might say he was a poor boy. Perhaps even… from a poor family.
* Karlinn waits for it.
<SlayerGhaleon> Whoa, it’s Phil.
* Karlinn ^5’s Slayer ^^
<Nerdboy> Spare him his life from this monstrosity? (Y/N):
<Karlinn> *Yes.*
