Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Announced for November

Nintendo has lifted the lid on the next paired set of Pokemon games: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, for 3DS. According to the announcement trailer – available on YouTube – the duo is planned for a worldwide release in November of this year.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne Hits PSN

After dropping a hint or two on Reddit, Atlus has re-released Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for the PlayStation Network. Relive fond memories of post-apocalyptic Tokyo – and the game that had to license the name “Nocturne” thanks to action/horror title of the same name – for $9.99.

Side-scrolling action RPG Battle Princess of Arcadias will see a June digital release, NIS America announced recently. The title launches in North America on June 17, with the European release following on June 18.

Atelier Rorona Plus Goes Global in June

Tecmo Koei confirmed that Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland will indeed see a western release this June. The remake of Atelier Rorona will be available on PS3 (retail) and PS Vita (digital via PSN) starting June 20 in Europe, with the North American launch on June 24.

Elder Scrolls Online Delayed on Consoles

Bethesda Softworks has delayed the PS4 and Xbox One versions of The Elder Scrolls Online. In a statement, the company stated the console release has been pushed back “about six months,” citing “a series of unique problems specific to those platforms.”

The company added that, as compensation, anyone who picks up and plays the PC/Mac version by the end of June will be able to transfer their characters to the console versions when they are released. For $20, those players will be able to add a digital version to their console of choice, along with another free 30 days of game time.

Deep Down to Get Public Beta This Summer

Deep Down producer Kazunori Suguira announced that a public beta for the title is in the works, planned to begin this summer. An update on the game’s overall development progress will be given in June.

Monster Monpiece Going Worldwide in May

Monster Monpiece will begin seeing PS Vitas in North America and Europe this month, Idea Factory announced. The North American release is on May 27, with Europe following on the 28th. Price has been set at $29.99.

Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition Set for August

Blizzard has announced that Diablo III will see a console release on August 19. The Ultimate Evil Edition, launching on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, will include the Reaper of Souls expansion, and will be priced at $39.99 for PS3/360, and $59.99 for PS4/X1.

Atelier Shallie Pushed Back to July Release in Japan

Gust announced that Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea has been delayed from its original release date of June 26 in Japan. The title will instead launch for the PS3 on July 17.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 NA/EU Launch Details

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, the Vita redux of Hyperdimension Neptunia, will be available in both retail and digital versions for North America when it launches this summer. The European release, also planned for this summer, will be digital only. Idea Factory also opened the game’s official site, which can be found over yonder.

Conception II Hits Europe This Month

Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars will launch in Europe this month, Atlus recently announced. Specifically, the PS Vita version hits the PlayStation Network on May 14, with the 3DS version available on the eShop starting May 15.

Tales of Hearts R Confirmed for NA, EU

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Tales of Hearts R, the Vita remake of Tales of Hearts, will launch outside of Japan this winter. In North America, the title will be retail-exclusive to GameStop and also available digitally, while details about the European release have not been given at this time.

Theatrhythm Curtain Call Going Global

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will release in North America and Europe, Square Enix recently announced. Apart from the 60-odd series characters, the game also features Versus and Quest Medley modes; the former pitting players against each other, and the latter letting players select a party to take into battle.

Bandai Namco confirmed that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will indeed be coming to North America, with the title launching digitally this summer. A European release has not been confirmed at this time.

Tales of Xillia 2 Set for August NA, EU Release

Bandai Namco have announced the western release dates for Tales of Xillia 2: August 19 for North America, August 22 for Europe. The game will launch in both standard and Collector’s Editions, the latter of which throws in a music CD, art book, a replica of Elle’s pocketwatch compact, Tales series costume DLC, and a figurine of Ludger Kresnik.

Yokai Watch Ships One Million

Level-5 announced that total shipments for Yokai Watch, its ghost-themed fantasy RPG, have exceeded one million copies. The number sat at just over 500k as of two months ago, following its release last July.
