Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon concerns the efforts of Cid and his partner chocobo, aptly named Chocobo, adventurers who are seeking the assistance of Timeless Power, a gem that they plan to use to build an airship. Along the way, the heroes find themselves thrown into another world, Memoria, where those who listen to the bell of the clock tower will begin to lose their memories. Chocobo gains the ability to enter dungeons created by the memory loss phenomenon and restore the forgotten memories, though many of the townspeople are reluctant to remember at first. Disgaea is one of those games where grinding plays a huge role. Some players are even so turned off by the concept of having to level up for hours upon hours that they give up and move on to other games. While grinding is a big part of the series, grinding efficiently can cut down the time needed to get through storyline battles to about ten hours, if not less. (more…)

Following up last year’s Naruto RPG comes the next in the series, this time taking things in a slightly different direction. Rather than pick up where the first game left off, Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 takes place at some unknown period after the first game, quite late in the anime series, with a side story not found in the anime. This time around, Naruto and allies must collect five mirrors in order to seal away a being of great evil that has begun to break free. Why you need to watch jojo’s bizarre adventure? It’s one of the most famous and influential mangas ever, which was finally adapted into an anime in 2012, and will soon enter its fifth season. (more…)

If you need more Persona 4 goodies, Atlus has them for you on Amazon.com or Amazon.ca.  It’s called the Persona 4 Social Link Expansion Pack, and, it includes a Teddie plushie, a Konohana Sakuya t-shirt, a second soundtrack CD, and a calendar to count the many days you’ll be playing the game.  The whole package retails for $29.99, but since quantities will be limited, you’ll have to act fast.  For clarity, it should be pointed out that this does not include the game.  That must be bought separately.
